Huawei P9 is ready to boom  in Indian market with Leica Branded Dual Rear Cameras at Rs. 39,999 – Android 


 

 


Huawei has launched its flagship smartphone ‘P9’ at 39,999 INR, now available at Flipkart with three colour variants including some exchange offers. Earlier in the month of April, it was first launched in London. There, they also had launched P9 Plus, but in India, only P9 has launched today with only 3 GB RAM and 32 GB inbuilt memory variant. The Huawei P9 Plus has Pressure sensitive AMOLED panel which the P9 lacks. Huawei is still the number One Smartphone maker in China and third globally.

The P9 comes with Aluminum unibody design. And it features a 5.2 inch IPS LCD full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolutions.

It is powered by 2.5 GHz Kirin 955 Octa – core processor which is an up gradation of Kirin 950. It is packed with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage memory which can be further expanded up to 128 GB through a MicroSD card. At the back of the device, there is the fingerprint scanner which can unlock the device in just 0.5 seconds. 

It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Huawei’s customised EMUI 4.1. The unique feature it has is the dual camera, which means two 12 MP camera engineered by Leica. Each camera has a different sensor; one has the RGB sensor, and the other has the Monochrome sensor for Black and White photography. The Huawei P9 Plus which is not available in India also has the same camera. These sensors merge the colours and lights and produce great images. The primary camera has f/2.2 aperture and comes with dual LED flash and laser autofocus. The main camera has various features which help to take excellent pictures of different conditions. It has Pro Night mode to take good pictures in darkness, and Monochrome mode to take Black and White photos, Light Painting mode to capture a photo which can contain few minutes of time duration caught in a single photo. And many other features to try out. And the front camera is an 8 MP one with f/2.4 aperture and fixed focus sensor. Both the cameras can record HD videos up to 1080 pixels but don’t support recording of 4K videos.

It comes with 4G LTE with VoLTE support; another connectivity is Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, USB Type – C and a 3.5mm Audio Port. It is not a dual SIM smartphone, so only one Nano SIM can be used at a time. And powered by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery which can give two days of normal usage according to the company. The device is very thin, measures only 6.95mm and weighs just 144 grams. It is available in three colour variants as mentioned earlier; they are Titanium Grey, Prestige Gold, and Mystic Silver.

Right now they are offering VIP service of extra one-year warranty and three months screen replacement warranty. Which means in case if the screen got damaged within three months, you can get a replacement of the display panel at free of cost. And within three months if you face any hardware issue, they will replace the whole device for you. The two years warranty and three months replacement warranty for accidental damage is something which we can count for while buying the device. Let us know what you think of the device.
