New Phone at Rs.12,500: Nubia N1 with 3GB RAM, 64 GB ROM, 5000 mAh battery launched in India

To be an Amazon exclusive, the Nubia N1 has officially been launched in India at Rs. 12,499. The phone’s USP is Nubia’s new battery technology – NeoPower, which combines a 5000mAh battery and efficient hardware, together achieving a battery life of 3.1 days for normal usage and 1.9 days for heavy users. Sales for the phone will commence from February 08, 2017 at 12:00 AM IST and it will be available in shades of Black and Gold.

Powering the Nubia N1 is a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor clocked at 1.8 Ghz, which is supported by 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage (expandable till 128GB via a microSD card).

It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box, with Nubia 4.0UI on top. The display is a 401 ppi, 5.5-inch screen that supports 1920×1080 resolution and is covered under 2.5D arc glass.

Optics on the Nubia N1 include 13MP lenses at the front and back. The rear camera comes with Neo vision 5.9 technology and is equipped with PDAF, 3D noise reduction technology, low-light image enhancement, image stabilization, LTM regional color control and accurate photo color restoration. The front camera gets a real time beautification filter.

The Nubia N1’s fast fingerprint scanner promises to unlock the phone within 0.2 seconds and also serves as a screenshot button if the user holds it down. The phone comes wrapped in aviation-grade aluminium alloy and measures 150.9 x 75 x 8.9 mm. It tips the scales at 190 gms. Sensors on the N1 include Electronic Compass, G-sensor, Light sensor, Gyro-sensor, Proximity sensor, Hall sensor. Connectivity options include 4G LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C support.
