LG G6 to offer 13-megapixel dual rear camera with 125-degree wide-angle lens


​LG today announced more details regarding its next big smartphone, the LG G6. The company has now confirmed the camera details, which includes a 13-megapixel dual rear camera setup with 125-degree wide-angle lens. The front camera will have a 100-degree field of view, but we don’t know the resolution yet.

The rear camera will offer shooting modes like snapshots, “Match shots,” “grid shot,” “Guide Shot” and much more. It will also have a square camera feature that will allow users to share images on platforms like Instagram with ease. Other essential characteristics will include 360 panorama mode and a Food Mode for capturing “high color quality images of the food with ideal saturation.”

Furthermore, the LG G6 will feature a 5.7-inch Quad HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 as confirmed by the company a few days back. The smartphone will likely run on Snapdragon 821 SoC with 4GB of RAM. It will offer LG UX 6.0 on top which will be based on Android 7.0 Nougat.
